Sirelyn - Powder Dance

I had recently joined MeetUp and found some photography shoots listed in London. One group was run by Luca Monti, an Italian photographer. His studio was based in Dalston, London and I remember it was a bit of a rabbit warren! It had corridors leading to other parts of the building so finding the studio was a bit of an adventure.

I was one of about 9 other photographers who each got 5 or 10 minutes with the model. As I had very little experience of shooting models it was the best way to learn about the process and also meet other like-minded photographers. They ranged from complete novices to seasoned amatuers who were completely at ease with it all.

Sirelyn is a performing artist and actress. She went through a variety of poses slowly so that it was easy to click away with the potential for some decent photographs. I did indeed come away with some very good images and I was pleased it all went well.
